Hello World!

Hello world! It is me, Tracye.

I have decided to give blogging a try. I have opinions, and I have always felt a pull to share them, to reflect on myself through them, and to hear back from others in return. That is really what this space is for.

I want to say clearly, from this very first post, what this blog is not meant to be. It is not meant to divide. It is not a place to prove who is right and who is wrong, or to draw harder lines between us than the ones we already have. I have seen enough of that online for the last several lifetimes.

What I hope this becomes instead is a place to reflect and to learn from our differences, not despite them. A place where morality is not a weapon but a compass, and where Socratic questioning is not a debate tactic but an honest tool, one question leading to another, until we understand something a little more clearly than we did before, together. I want this to be an environment of balance, of love, and of faith, where disagreement can exist alongside dignity, and where being wrong is not a failure but part of how any of us grow.

I do not claim to have it all figured out. I am a clinician, a student, a woman of faith, and a work in progress, same as anyone reading this. What I bring is a willingness to think out loud, to sit with hard questions instead of rushing past them, and to hold space for other people’s perspectives even when they challenge my own.

So, can we do this together? I would love for you to read, to push back when you see it differently, to sit with me in the questions that do not have easy answers, and to bring your own voice into this space. That is how reflection becomes real. That is how we learn.

Welcome. I am glad you are here.
